SAFE Center for Human Trafficking Survivors
The University of Maryland SUPPORT, ADVOCACY, FREEDOM, AND EMPOWERMENT (SAFE) Center for Human Trafficking Survivors provides survivor-centered and trauma-informed services that empower trafficking survivors to heal and reclaim their lives. The SAFE Center aims to prevent trafficking and better serve survivors through research and policy advocacy.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.
Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and partners with over 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country. You can reach the national sexual assault hotline 24/7 at 1-800-656-4673.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is an organization geared toward crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ young people. They also work in education, advocacy, and research around queer issues and offer an international social networking site specifically for queer youth.
The Trevor Project offers 24/7 crisis support and chat options. You can reach a counselor any time, any day by calling 1-866-488-7386, or by using their chat/SMS options.
